Warehouse / Supply Chain Supervisor

For the Distribution Center of one of our customers, we are looking for candidates for the position of Warehouse Supervisor. The Warehouse / Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for approx. 30 people, working in two shifts.

Key job responsibilities:

• Assign resources for preparation and restocking in line with targeted leadtimes;
• Prepare orders in line with quality and safety procedures;
• Meet deadlines as set in agreements;
• Work with fellow Supervisors to optimise warehouse management (product locations);
• Anticipate needs by participating in sales & marketing meetings;
• Manage the budget;
• Monitor and supervise performance reviews, identify best practices and areas that need improvement;
• Recruit, develop and manage the team, ensure transfer of know-how and implement organisational changes.

Requirements and must haves:

• Working at HBO level;
• 3 - 5 years experience in supervising a team;
• Experience in working with Key Indicators (safety, quality, performance, deadlines and budget);
• Fluency in Dutch and English;
• Can work under stress in a hectic environment;
• Flexible;
• No 9 - 5 mentality;
• Experienced MS Office user.
